Lifestyle label MUJI announced the new arrival of their Autumn/Winter 2008 men and women collection. Designed in Japan by Muji’s design team, the new clothing line is specifically created for the European market. Being simple and discreet, the silhouette is long and has a loose sophisticate fitting.
Mujirushi Ryohin, which Muji was originally derived from, translates as ‘no-brand quality goods’. The Japanese brand was founded in 1980 and since Muji expanded worldwide with stores in Asia, Europe and US. Muji combines quality products at affordable prices featuring a wide variety of stationeries, household items and apparel. Muji products maintain reasonable price levels, not by compromising quality, but by avoiding the waste typical of much product – manufacturing and distribution – in the form of unnecessary functionality, an excess of decoration, and needless packaging.
