In A First, Madhya Pradesh Medical University Allows Students To Write Exams In ‘Hinglish’

Under the excuse of making it easier for students from rural areas who are not well versed in English, the Madhya Pradesh Medical University has decided to let medical students attempt the exams in Hinglish – mix of Hindi and English.

According to a circular issued by the university on May 26, this is applicable in both oral and written exams.

“Following a detailed discussion, the board of studies has decided that the students of all homoeopathy and Ayurvedic colleges affiliated with the university will have the option to answer questions in English/Hindi or a mixture of the two. This facility is now being extended to students of all faculties (MBBS, nursing, dental, Unani, yoga, naturopathy),” the circular said.
