Multiple Gopher Grapplers Reach Career Milestones

Several Minnesota Gophers either reached career milestones or climbed the Gophers all-time record books this past weekend at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

At 141-pounds Mitch McKee registered yet another pin, the sixth of the season and 31st of his career, to reach 15th on the Gophers all-time pins list. Now McKee is tied with two-time All-American, and current North Dakota State head coach, Roger Kish at that spot on the list. Next up are Mike McArthur and Michael Foy.

Elsewhere, Carson Brolsma and Devin Skatzka each notched their 80th and 90th career victories this past weekend. Brolsma hit the mark with a major decision over TJ Calas of Sacred Heart and now sits at 82 in the Maroon and Gold.

Skatzka hit the 90 mark when he defeated No.21 Daniel Bullard from NC State. Between his time at Indiana and Minnesota, the Michigan native now has 94 victories with the century mark in sight for 2020.

Plus, Bailee O’Reilly got his 30th career victory when he defeated Cal Poly’s Bernie Truax.
