They also noted that WWE has been freezing contracts of wrestlers who are injured, meaning that for each day they are out of action, their contracts are being extended for a day as well.
The XFL is currently negotiating and interviewing for people who will run the eight franchises, including the coaches. They also are looking to sign “star quarterbacks” to each team by paying the players up to $300,000 with the goal that by March, the league can begin marketing the coaches and quarterbacks in each of the eight local markets.
