Mark Henry Reveals Top 10 African American Wrestlers Of All-Time


On Friday’s edition of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry revealed his personal list of the top ten African-American pro wrestlers of all-time.

To the surprise of no one, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson topped “The World’s Strongest Man’s” list. Following “The Great One,” however, was an interesting choice, as Henry picked Jim Mitchell.

From there, Bobo Brazil, the first-ever African-American WCW World Champion Ron Simmons and Sailor Art Thomas rounded out the top five of Henry’s list.

Also included in Henry’s list are Booker T, Luther Lindsey, Bearcat Wright and Carlos Colon. The complete list, in order, looks as follows:

1. The Rock
2. Jim Mitchell
3. Bobo Brazil
4. Ron Simmons
5. Sailor Art Thomas
6. Ernie Ladd
7. Booker T

9. Bearcat Wright
10. Carlos Colon
