Sean Waltman Addresses Backlash From Callihan-Edwards Baseball Bat Accident

Sean Waltman spoke about the controversial baseball bat segment between Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards from Impact Wrestling on the latest episode of his X-Pac 12360 Podcast.

During the show, Waltman spoke about the segment that saw Callihan accidentally blast Edwards in the face with a baseball bat, resulting in him suffering a broken orbital bone and broken nose, addressing the backlash it received from Jim Cornette and Kassius Ohno.

“I’m a big Sami Callihan fan,” Waltman said. “Obviously, it was an accident. And Jim Cornette chimed in and that’s what Jim does now. He chimes in on stuff like that and runs with it. So, Sami fires back on Twitter and you know it doesn’t come off good for him, but Sami is a really good dude.”

Waltman continued, “For the damage that it caused, it really didn’t look that great at all. You could barely see it (The Bat) hit him (Eddie), it was so fast. It was an accident.”
